I liked this one quote from Rainmaker, which is well worth a watch mind you. Excellent drama.
"It wasn't big money, but it was good money"
It wasn't until I watched that movie that I understood why my boss rejected a better company in favor of a smaller one that was a little more expensive. It's because the smaller one kept their promises and would commit seppuku if they couldn't fufill the contract (or something like that). Meaning that the money we were paying was going to someone who earned it, which made it good money. The other company had a habit of slapping on hidden charges for things like "Having to use the stairs", and as far as my boss was concerned, their earnings weren't "good money".
Our boss still preaches that we should be honest to the customer. "Or else!"
