Hey all,
Do you all think reservation for women is required in this competitive world?
Every one says that men and women are equal and should be treated as equal in all respects, but i dont understand from where this reservation for women came?
I am from India, here 33% of reservation is given for women in colleges, jobs,...etc., which takes some chances of efficient one and give a chance for inefficient one, which is not good...
What do you think about this?
Absolutely no favoritism should be afford either gender! Let the best qualified receive what they deserve.
We have tried to artifically impose equality in this country via programs like "Affirmative Action" which is a blatant misnomer IMO. Look for example at our President - an Affirmitive Action recipient - I rest my fucking case!
Simply and falsely stating that this is even an issue portrays women as victims, and professional victims at that. This is what radical gender-feminism is all about and represents very few real women out there who abhor these political policies and programs. Most women find this insulting at best. This describes the huge disconnect between the voting populace and the policy makers who continue this agenda behind the closed doors of "confidentiality".
Looking for peace, and finally getting it......
