Yes dancing is great, I remember when I was a teenager I would go dancing about 3-4 times a week there wasn't a pick on me back then because of the amount of dancing I did, maybe I should take it back up.

I also love dancing and I definitely agree that it is a good exercise. You won't get bored easily and you can choose whatever music you like. I've been doing Hip-Hop abs lately. It is an exercise video but the steps are hip-hop moves which you can use in the dance floor.
A dance group in our area practices almost daily. And I could see that their bodies ARE great and on top of that, they could eat whatever they want! and stay fit!
