Oh I've always liked him, especially before his "Playhouse" days, his shit was way out there then.  Extemely warped and twisted, but when he started the Playhouse he toned it way down.

I sometimes wonder if all that twisted goofey thinking is to blame for spawning al the twisted goofey thinking today?  A sort of the chicken and edd pondering you understand!

I don't recall that level of twisted or goofeyness growing up in the 50s or even the 60s for that matter.  Then things began to shift to a place of disconnect during the mid to late 70s.  Now look at the world and all of its twisted goofey behaviors.  To identify something worth the trade-offs from my perspective becomes increasingly difficult.
