"Wonderfalls" TV Series

Did anyone here catch the TV series from a few years ago called "Wonderfalls"?

It was different. The main character was a girl in her twenties who worked in a giftshop in Niagara Falls that was built over a First Nation burial ground.

She'd receive cryptic life advice from inanimate objects in the store, often from a wax lion. I know it sounds crazy, and it's probably too "cute" for a lot of people. But there were great writing and performances on the show. I think it just didn't find its audience. The entire first season didn't even air.

I'm glad I have the season on DVD.

Are you sure you weren't

Are you sure you weren't just watching "The wonder years" and smoking the good stuff? Eye-wink

No Boanerges, but come to

No Boanerges, but come to think of it that may be how the creators of the show came up with the concept. Eye-wink

They also did the movie Firehouse Dog, but I haven't seen it. I think it may be in a different style than the TV series.
