Stephen Fry on Catholicism

Worth watching, he makes some very good points.  This should really be applied to all religions.

I disagree with his points. He comes across as a person that is bitter because he's gay and the Church doesn't approve of his lifestyle. His opening statement is that the church isn't a force for good? He completely ignores all the charities, hospitals and schools that are run worldwide by the Catholic Church.

I would be interested to hear the other side of the debate that doesn't seem to be available.

Re: Stephen Fry on Catholicism

Like a coin all disagreements have two sides to be considered.  Taking facts out of context is a common tactic and often is accepted by non-cerbreal types as "gospel".  I understand his dissent as he clearly states he is a gay man.  So I would really like to hear what the other panel members offer as defense for their positions.

I think there is far too much time bashing theological orientations instead of concerning ourselves with individual behaviors and responsiblities that potentially could contribute a positive event to the over all human experience.  Now where is that Burka wearing bitch so I can cause and earthquake!
