What no bail out for Air America - guess they weren't too big to fail! I won't miss them at all as I never tuned into their programing. I do favor the "free market" position that resulted in their failure - now what do those against free markets have to say?

Thank the stars for that - I couldn't handle two of them! Rush is a bit out there a lot of the time IMO - too far right for me.

Rush is funny, but I really don't take him seriously. Then of course you've got Party Hacks like Hannity and the pure lunatics as with that PoS O'Rielly and Savage.
I don't pay much attention to the talking heads, I do though like listening to NPR at times. Yes it does swing left of Center but you get interesting things and different points of views there.
In any case there is no substitute with doing your own research and forming your OWN opinions. Problem I see is most people are just too lazy, hence why the overwhelming majority (the Herd) are content with just parroting what they hear.
Rush is an Entertainer and nothing else IMO. Yes, he is also succesful at his profession and that I have to appreciate. Would I ever vote for him - no fucking way. But then I wouldn't vote for Keith O either - by the way who the fuck is he anyway - I mean what is his claim to fame or accomplishments???? Why is he given pundit status?
I find most of the talking heads to be full of shit most of the time. Although I have become a avid fan and viewer of Glen Beck - now he makes no claim as to being a journalist. Glen readily admits he is just a recovering alcoholic and a rodeo clown - that I appreciate.
Rush is full of shit........and entertaining!.......his success is attributed to the people that absolutely hate him as much as the people that listen to him on a daily basis. He is also straightforward about what he does. He does it bacause someone pays him a lot of money to do it.
