Eastern culture is the best.

To each their own.  If ones culture at home is so great then why relocate to America? 

Why not?  American culture is nothing more than a melting of cultures from around the globe.  True most of it comes from the "West", but the East has also contributed much.

The only "true" American culture was decimated by the Europeans set on "conversion" of the so called "heathens".

So why didn't the Europeans stay in Europe eh? 

Culture is all about the people who are following the steps of their anacestors,so it is difficult to say that the following culture is owed by such part of the country.

The culture comes from the followings of our ancestor and we should respect the culture of our people.

Simple answer - they were oppressed and wanted to have a place of their own so they could become the oppressors!

We are a Nation of "Mutt's" and personally I love it being that way.  You hear from time to time that one of the U.S.'s problems is that we don't have a so called "culture", I highly disagree with that.  We do have our our own unique culture, that is "Mutt"

The advantage I see of having a culture of "Mutt" is that we can pick and choose between the good and bad and create our own.  There are a lot of wonderful things that can be taken from the Eastern Culture, I've personally incorporated the philosophy of "Balance" in all things.  Not to mention the damn fine cuisine!

It is true that the people who got mixed with their culture will not be leaving it alone,

but the culture can be enjoyed morely.

Well, I say is someone feels their culture is the best, far be it for me to tell them to stay where they are.... don't move away from it.  Thank you.  Because if you move into a new culture and start spouting shit about your culture being far superior, I would be more than happy to send your ass packing.  Elitism need not apply, thank you very much.

Yep, especially the "bad english" that comes from people who are native to here.  You know like the south, southern California, Louisiana, Jersey, Boston, etc. etc.

culture n. The totality of socially transmitted behavior patterns, arts, beliefs, institutions, and all other products of human work and thought.

While I admire and respect tradition, I think there is a huge difference between traditional values and culture. My beliefs are shaped by my experience of the world, not the dogma and reinforced belief system  of the regional society, regardless of whatever (or wherever that) society it maybe. To suggest one society is great  in comparsion of another is sort of absurd IMO, what exactly is the point that is trying to be made?

There is no point to this thread. I'm growing really tired of these one-liner threads.
