Series of the Year, So far....

Last night, I watched the end of the Blackhawks/Flames game. Chicago has OWNED Calgary so far this year, but might've awoken the sleeping giant last night. They tried to goon the Flames in their own house and the game ended with goons from both teams going after the other's star players. Chicago started it and the Flames looked more than willing to finish it. Chicago leads the series 2-1, but lost 4-2 last night. The game ended with most players back in the locker room as there was only 23 seconds to kill. And kill, they might!

Calgary is a shadow of what they were in 2004. But they woke up last night and were more than up to the task. Tomorrow night, they play again. This one is on my must see list as they will again play in Calgary.

Look at the title of this thread.

Calgary did not disappoint tonight and evened the series up 2-2, by winning 6-4. The game started out rough as expected, and Calgary took a 4-1 lead into the second period, when Chicago came up with three goals at then end of that period to tie it at 4-4. Calgary scored with 6 mins. left and added an empty netter at the end. Iginla scored the first and last goals as it was balls out, wall to wall action the entire game. Haven't seen a series like this in a while. Game 5 in Chicago on Friday.

Well for we American's series implies baseball - as in World Series. Last time I checked "goals" has no place in baseball terminology. Now run scored, base hit, single, double, triple or home run does mean something.

Are we talking soccer (football for the Europeans) Cricket, or what??? Not everyone lives by or for the international sports page - as many "Morons" do!

I didn't really care too

I didn't really care too much about who won this series. I just want the winner, which is Chicago as I recall, to be able to do something to Vancouver. Still, go Red Wings!
