Let's get a count of all the people who hate the N.Y. Yankees. Once again they took a ton of money, and paid way too much money for a couple of players so that no one else could have them. It's not so much that they are hogging the talent, but the money that they dish out, makes baseball players think that they are worth more than they really are. The owners don't seem to realize that in order to deflate the market, they all have to agree to decrease the size of the contract offers.

I HATE the fucking yankees. They represent what is WRONG in baseball and sports in general. Its a slap in the face to fans who pay good money, only to see it pissed away in an economy like this.

I'd love to see the Yankees not make the post season this year again.
I agree with the above points, plus there just seems to be something about being a Yankee that takes cockiness to another level.
Was it A-Rod who called an infield pop fly as he was rounding second? That's bush league.

Everyone with a soul hates the Yankees. The worst are the non-NY bandwagon Yankee fans. Still, I have to admit I respect their owners for spending the money to win. There are lots of rich owners who claim poverty after pocketing team profits and then bitch that they can't compete with the Yankees spending.

So far I've been outnumered on every sport. What is 1 more right. The NY Yankees are the only NY team I cheer for.
I love Jeter! He is amazing, and nice to.
I'd rather see the Yankees get in than the Red Sox.
It's the leagues fault for allowing teams to pay the players so much! Salary caps!

There is no need for a salary cap in baseball! The EPL and other European soccer leagues would be the model I'd like to see followed but I don't think it will happen. You are right on that Jeter is a baller and the Red Sox put naughty things in their mouths and like it.
