Well... This much I can tell you with equal degrees of certainty and embarassment. They've got some blue chippers from my home state!
Aw Hell we been doin' that shit for years!

It's pre-season and my canucks are kicking ass. They have NEVER won the Stanley Cup - but I'm a hard core die-hard fan. In fact I bought a giant flat screen last year just to watch them play...and have hockey parties!
It's the season to beat all seasons here in Canada.
My jersy has never ever hit the floor....
Good gawd, Lynn! You're too good to be true! I used to be a goalie in Green Bay.
I love the Canucks! Have you been to their games at all or have any ticket connections? I've always wanted to see them play. I have always wondered if their tickets were as hard to come as they are in GB for football? So many questions, so little time!
I'm also a fan of the Calgary Flames. I know. I just lost some credence with you, but Jerome Iginla won me over in the 2004 playoffs. I have also followed Patrick Marleau who plays in San Jose. I watched him grow up with the T-Birds in Seattle before he went to the pros. Fascinating story. He's one of the small ones who made it. Blinding fast player who used to skate circles around the rest.
un oh....
The Canucks - though bumbling fools at times - are near and dear to me. I've been to many games...but it's at the point now where a ticket is over $100 IF you can get em. I do have a couple of connections if you are looking to score a ticket though.
um...Calgary????????????????????????????????????????? CALGARY??????????????????????????????
Our Rival. Yes we despise the Flames...BUT like you I am an Iginla fan....I appreciate his abilities. So too am I a fan of Kipper - their goalie - ...I think next to Luongo, he's the best goalie this side of the border.
I can hardly wait for regular season games to begin.
Yup. Calgary! I think their jerseys are better as well! Iginla is one of my favorites. I also keep most of my hockey loyalties north of the border as I feel that America has butchered the sport and taken away a true Canadian heritage. Deep inside, I know its not true, but hockey teams in Charlottesville, Dallas, LA???? C'mon!!! Its a great sport that I hope Canada will reclaim someday.
Let the games begin!
(Tongue in cheek - me being bratty)
1. Calgary jerseys suck. There's nothing cool about them. They are boring and never change.
2. Our jersey is original, it changes, and when something is meaningful - we acknowledge it via the jersey.
3.HOCKEY IS CANADA
Don't hope we "reclaim" it hun. We never gave it up to anyone. Have a gander around the NHL. More than 90% of ALL players are from.................you guessed it..........CANADA.
That's why you find a lot of Canadians backing some American teams. We all know the NHL is FULL of Canadians, it's run by them and it's worshipped by them. American's don't really give a rats ass about it...and while I agree that places like san jose shouldn't have a friggin hockey team - it's providing more jobs to Canadians...and more opportunities to expand the sport. That means:
HOCKEY EVERY SINGLE NIGHT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Which translates to..................FUCKIN EH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! HOCKEY NIGHT IN CANADAAAAAAA
lol
Except tonight...tonight we get to watch the sport of Debating!
Gotta love that response, sweetie pie!
Hockey Night in Canada with Don Cherry. It simply doesn't get any better than that!
Except for those Calgary Jerseys!!!!!
You can call me hoser now!
Brat!!!!!
Whoops! You caught that, didn't you?
Pssssttttt.... I like both teams. I'd have a hard time choosing which team to root for. I'm a classic fan for the underdog, so that may decide which team I might root for and on which day I may root for them!
Either way, Go Canada!
