NBA All-Stars

Anyone watch any of NBA All-Star weekend?

I was impressed with the Slam Dunk competition and the NBA All-Star game. The Celebrity game was fun to watch too- I love the Harlem Globtrotters.

Kobe Bryant and Shaq- co-MVP's of the game. People are talking trade Shaq to the Lakers- I hope not!

If he is traded, what will

If he is traded, what will he be traded for? Will there still be question as to whose team that is? Last I saw, O'neil certainly looked a lot older than when he was there before.

It is true that this young blood-'Kobe' has an egde over the ageing star 'Shaq'-Lakers is surely going to prefer Kobe at any cost.  This move may sound a little odd but if watched carefully it is quite practical.

Yeah, watched the all star game.  Not too impressed 'cause the game is more like Showtime rather than competition, which is what I prefer.  The Jordan era all star games were excellent, not to mention his last all star game in 2003 where he hit almost a buzzer beater of a shot against Shawn Marion.  Jermaine O'Neal ruined it of course by fouling Kobe when he attempted to shoot a trey, so the West won.

Between Kobe and Shaq, I appreciate Kobe's game today.  His play is more mature and he showed that he is the leader of the team.
