Kobe Bryant! NBA

I am a LA Lakers fan... Yeah I know I live in NY- I was a Knicks fan until Kobe came on the scene.

So I was a bit worried when I saw Bynum go out again with injury. I thought we are having a great season so far.

Then the Lakers played the Knicks and Kobe scored 61 points for the win! Gasol stepped up as well.

61 points- I then got looking- it was Kobe's 5th game with over 50 points. His highest was 81 against the Raptors in 06.

I'm still worried for the Lakers- you can't score this many each game.

How long before people start talking smack about Kobe again- He is a ball hog- won't pass, selfish?

Basically, there are Kobe fans and Kobe haters.  Used to be a Kobe hater, but that was back when he was young and cocky.  These past few years, I was really impressed about how his game is maturing and how he stepped up to really be a leader for the Lakers, and now I'm a fan.  (Unlike Iverson who's never matured).  He deserved this last championship.  Everybody was saying, Lebron, Lebron, Lebron, but the Cavs never won a game against the Lakers this season.  Kobe's got nothing to prove anymore.

I have better things to fill my time with other than over paid spoiled professional sports.  I prefer participation over being a spectator myself.  But whatever floats your boat IMO.

We'll I guess he improved his skills and personality though I'm not a lakers fan but after O'neal stepped out I guess wiinning the champsionship is a big achievement for him
