French Open?

Is anyone watching the French Open. I usually always watch the major tennis tournaments, but this one is hard because very little of it that is shown is live. The so called Tennis Network shows most of the live play, and I don't get that channel. I have a problem with watching taped play because I usually run into the results before the taping is watched. Anyway, it would be nice to see Federer finally win.

Federer's still alive. Just one Grand Slam away from Pete Sampras' record.

If anyone cares, Kuznetsova won the women's finals this morning.

Federer's in the final as well. I always wish him well. Maybe he can exorcise his demons today....

Now even though I'm not a Tennis fan I do appreciate talent. I googled around and damn, she is good!

Kuznetsova

She definately has some serious legs on her. On a seperate note, Federer finally won the French Open, tying Pete Sampras' record for grand slam events. So now people can begin the debate; who was/is better?

Re: French Open?

Debating on who was better from the past and present is pointless, 'cause you'll never really get a definite answer.  You can put the champion on one end and another champion who's past his prime in a contest, it's already lopsided.  So if Federer already tied Sampras's record, it doesn't necessarily mean he's better.
