I am familiar with Jiminy

I am familiar with Jiminy Cricket the Disney character! Is that any help? Laughing out loud

But if by chance you are referring to the sport of Cricket I have actually played the game with some Brits. Why do you inquire?

Heh, leave it to the Brits

Heh, leave it to the Brits to invent a game impossible to fully understand. I'm sure the rules were made as they played along and were designed to make up for the many inadequacies the early players exhibited athletically. Laughing out loud

The matches go on forever!

The matches go on forever! Then the rules being impossible to fully understand, I'd rather watch grass grow More Cowbell

in the Indian subcontinent

in the Indian subcontinent cricket is religion.nothing...not soccer in Europe or South America nor Baseball in the US can match the popularity cricket enjoys in that region. It's pretty much the only sport that people knew of till a few years back until the opening up of regional economies and the rapid advance of cable tv and internet over the last decade have introduced Soccer and Tennis. but Cricket still rules.
