BMW has announced this week that they will exit the Formula 1. The F1 has been having a lot of problems recently with the various different teams. Will this be the beginning of the end?
Naaah, it won't be the end, it's just a temp slump. Everything goes in cycles and the F1 has been around since the beginning of automobiles themselves, I don't foresee them dieing out.
BMW has a spotty recent history of winning at best in F1. They are concentrating on "green" and will most likely introduce an electric F1 or participate in a new form of racing for electrically powered units.
It is a sad time for F1! Just something about all that power, roaring engines and the smell of racing fuel in the air gives me a woody without Viagra!
BMW did do ok in the past when they had the younger brother of Schumacher driving for them and they had this really good Columbian driver. I forgot his name. Does anyone remember him? I think he is driving in the US now in some type of competition.
