Anyone here who plays airsoft?

Share some experiences especially thus unforgetable moments with your friends, meeting other people and the thrill of the game.

I am sorry to have to ask but what the heck is Airsoft? I have never heard of it. Is it some type of frisbee?

It's just another form of "paintball", I don't do it myself.  I do know people though that are into the paintball thing and they have a lot of fun with it.  Personally I spent too many years doing the real thing so I'm not really interested in the "fake" shit ya know Eye-wink

Wow, were you in the army or police force?

I did play paintball a few times back in college and I must admit that I raelly enjoyed those paintball sessions. I guess if you never did the "real" thing then it is like playing Indian and Cowboys. Smiling

Airsoft is becoming more popular than paintball these days. Two of the biggest reasons are that it is cheaper and it is cleaner than paintball. I don't do the whole airsoft thing, but I have done paintball a couple of times and it can be pretty fun.

So that would have been during the first gulf war, is that correct? That is a big change from being a marine to a forum admin. Laughing out loud

Once a Jarhead always a Jarhead! Geek is simply a cover story.

Ah, you were in the marines? Looking at you with a lot more respect now Pagan.

I tried paintball once. I got shot in the head, shot in the 'other' head, shot in the balls, shot in the balls again, and well, I just gave up before I wound up infertile. Never did it after that, way too much pain for all of five minutes. I'm a good shot with guns though.

Re: Any one here plays airsoft?

Me and my friends used to play airsoft but now we don't have time for it anymore because some of my friends are either married or working now. The part I part I love the most is customizing my airsoft, making it much better and better but customizing is really expensive so I gave up on it.

I always enjoyed playing the game especially with my friends.

I have tried paintball number of times it is real fun, airsoft is quite similar-both are basically recreational games and are very popular all over America.

Well the best about playing is that its fun and have you and your friends increases your bonding. I played airsoft because of the fun and experience. And the fun part is that you can make a lot of friends and know more people Smiling .
