I don't know if this is what the women's rights activists were looking for, but there is a women's football league coming this fall. The catch is, the women will be dressed almost like cheerleaders, as the league will be known as the Lingerie Football League. The name says it all:

Sorry, guys. It just does not interest me. Not with the NHL playoffs and better sports options available. Besides, I hate seeing women trying to act like men when they know it'll never work. What a buzzkill, eh?

I don't think this is meant to be a sporting entertainment to compete with other sports; hence the name. It looks like something for guys who just feel like watching some hot girls dressed like athletes.
"Hot" to me includes other qualities other than just the exterior appearance of one's body.

Football is just what they call it so they don't have to get a special permit from the city to run an adult club. If it was on tv when I was flipping through the channels I would watch for a few minutes. Would I pay to go to it, no, unless it was part of a bachelor party.

Kind of an aside, one of our coffee shacks in town turned into a bikini barista shack a couple of months ago. Hubby has been on "furlough Fridays", and as a joke he said he was going to apply to work there on Fridays! LOL! Ummm... I think he would scare people away, but it would be sexist if he didn't get an interview, right? LOL!!
