What do you all think about them extending the season by a game or 2 (instead of 16, moving it to 17 or 18 games)?
Do you think it is going to make much difference in the season? I see it making more difference in the pockets of the owners of the team and the networks that broadcast the games.
I like it. As a season ticket holder for the Green Bay Packers, I loathe pre-season games, which are boring, meaningless (especially the last two games) and are the same price as regular season games.

I have to agree I like it too. As I understand there will be less pre-season games and more regular season games. Will it equal out? Will the players be playing the same # of games?
I wonder what the players are thinking? More $$ to them per eason due to more games. They have more games to reach their goals to make their individual bonuses.
I have to be honest- I pay no attention to pre-season games, as it's just that "Pre-season". No meaning.

The schedule just came out. We get to come to your house in December! Our record there hasn't been that great. But, its a game that I'm looking forward to nonetheless.

More time for the Broncos to kick butt heck yeah I am all for it. Now if Pat would start taking his Alzheimer medication regularly we might not lose one of the best coaches and quarterbacks ever again 
I am sick to my stomach about this year, we actually had a chance for a Superbowl ring this year, but with cutler gone and a new head coach we probably wont see one again for five years, what a moron.

We've got an easy schedule to begin with, this year. A lot of home games outta the gate with a difficult December. We're converting to the 3-4 defense this year with Dom Capers. The easy schedule to begin with will hopefully give us time to work out the kinks. Our weakest link is our GM, Ted Thompson. He's gone downhill fats and this is a do/die year for him.

I was suprised at how easy our schedule and season look too. Very surprised. Although we will see how each team does. Some teams really improve during the off-season.

If the season gets extended, that will be that many more games for the Lions to lose. I am not really for it.
