From some of the other MJ threads, I've gathered that a few on here aren't MJ fans...but is anyone planning on seeing his new movie? I plan on seeing it this weekend. Aside from all that weirdness I think the guy was a musical genius and think the film will be pretty interesting.
I am not a fan per se of Michael Jackson, and I'm not going to go see the movie. That said, he has a definite place in music history that can't be denied.

I just hope the rumors about a double acting as Mj is not true. If this is a documentary I say keep it as real as possible.
I don't think that's true at all. It would be stupid, not that things like that don't happen. They have 100 hours of footage, though, or something like that, so certainly they had enough for what they wanted to do.
im not sure if im going to watch it, he was a musical genius and a legend, theres no doubt about that.
I think he was a seriously misunderstood individual whose character was assassinated. I also don't think he deserves all of the stupid press that he's gotten. Pretty sad story, followed by an insatiable media gobbling up his leftovers.
Wouldn't spend the time or money - not a fan of MJ. Give him credit for his contributions to the industry, sad story really and a much maligned yet confused person. I can only say RIP MJ.
I am fan of MJ, the King of Pop. The movie is of course a documentary. I am taken aback many times by his professionalism and genius. I don't know about others, I miss him because of no more music from MJ.
I am a fan of MJ, i love his music. But it is so sad that he is no more.
Many who critized about the music legend, felt sorry for what they spoke about him.
Ill watch the documentry, just like it, as soon as it is out here...

For some reason I get the feeling we are gonna still be hearing a lot of MJ songs that were "vaulted" and then get released after a singer dies (think 2pac among many others). Anyhow, the movie was great. It was even better than I thought. Of course if you aren't an MJ fan it wouldn't hold your interest, but the choreography was entertaining to my cousin who absolutely loathes MJ music (he only went to be nice I guess).

Agreed! I couldn't resist shelling out $ for the movie though (and a few magazines here and there
).
Personally I have more important issue to wrap my support around. RIP MJ and lets get on with life!
