Are there any Rocky Horror Picture Show fans left? I speak of this movie a lot, and so many people that I talk to, are unfamiliar with it. It is as if the movie has died out.
Yes people have moved on - some decide to eventually move forward and follow the Herd to the next cult film happening! Such is the world we live in! I believe it is called progressive liberalism!
I'm a fan. But I've never gone to a midnight showing of it or dressed up like any of the characters. I just like the movie.
I like the Rocky Horror Picture Show. From time to time I even quote lines from the movie. Like for example the other night when Adam LAmbert was performing on Idol, I brook out in a chorus of "Sweet Transvestite".
I like the movie, I have it on DVD and I'll definitely watch it again sometime.
By the way, the one time I saw it in a theatre, it had just come out and didn't have the cult status at that point.
I haven't seen it in a long time. They used to have midnight showings of it back when I was in high school. Didn't they turn it into a broadway musical a while back?
I've only been to the show a couple dozen times, watching it on DVD IMO is sacrilege! Best show I'd been to was when I was in the Desert in Gulf War I. Get a bunch of Jarheads drunk on home made hooch, doing the time warp, throwing toast, etc. with a bunch of Arabs watching with stunned amazement lends to some interesting times ....

It was The Rocky Horror Show in London before it was made into a movie, thus adding the moniker "Picture" to the title. It was on Broadway in summer 2001 thereabouts when I was in NYC.
I used to be a fan of Rocky Horror Picture show but I haven't had the chance to watch it again. I read that it will be showing in Kentucky this May. I just wish that I will have the chance to watch it again.
Too funny Pagan, I can just see it now! Now wonder the Arabs think of us as infidels! But hey home made hooch can be pretty good at times. I took a liking to "raisin jack" when I was in the highlands working with the Montanyards.
