This Time It’s Mrs. Clinton’s Turn

It was almost dreamlike, watching Secretary of State Clinton make her visit to Israel, one that can be called the first of many trips pretending to encourage peace talks between Israel and the Palestinians. It’s a dream I’ve had several times over; one needs only to simply fill in the names of the various U.S. Secretaries of State, say that they’ve met with the Israeli leadership and with Mahmoud Abbas, (who is about as popular with the Palestinians as Rush Limbaugh is with Democrats), and that no progress was made.

What the hell is effective use of this person? I look at her and say, "Wow, she can fuck it up just like the men - woohoo for feminism." We could have expected as much from a H. Clinton presidency. (Yeah, I would expect something different from a human with a different perspective, but she obviously wanted to play the good ol' boys' game.) This administration is proving that the pigs can do as bang-up a job as the humans.

Wow..... Great read, Fremen.

Great read, Fremen. And one that makes some of the most sense that I've read about the Middle East in quite some time now. I've known of our own hubris, but without factual reasons of the ones stated so simply and eloquently here. This article not only doesn't beat around the bush (no pun intended), but gets right to the heart of the matter.

Hillary looks like more of the same, sad to say. And its beginning to look like her appointment was more politcally motivated rather than actually being made upon her skillset.

Pretty brave (IMO) to post that article Freman. That's something I truly appreciate about you.
Though I agree with the contents in its entirety, I wonder how many people here would - if they read it through to the end.

That article rarely mentions Clinton. The focus seems to be the historical cock-sucking the US has done for Israel. The article talks about Clinton's trip - yes - but CLEARLY places the responsibility squarely where it should be - on the Presidents' shoulders.

I see this article as far more damning to President Obama than Clinton....far more. Here's why:

President Obama is now on record as supporting a multibillion dollar arms gift to Israel over the next ten years. Both Israel and the U.S. decry — in the loudest terms –arms being slipped into Gaza so the people there can defend themselves. The same is true for Hizbollah.

Because of this...and this alone....President Obama has lost a considerable amount of MY support. While the article is about Clinton doing exactly what's always been done...she's doing so because her hands are tied due to the Presidents fucked up priorities...
He should be slapped and slapped hard for this. It's goddamn time to tell Israel to smarten the hell up and behave like fucking human beings.

The Israeli Lobbyists have a strong hold on our Government so our Politicians do what they're told. IMO what this Administration has shown me so far is "Business as usual", that's why we need to fire every incumbent in office for at least 5 or 6 election cycles at a minimum.

You know...I have to be really honest...and I know some people might think terribly of me for it...

Had Obama stated that he intended to support Israel...had he stated that he had no intent to hold them accountable...he would not have received my damn vote.

You're absolutly right about this particular issue....it is indeed Business as usual....and I'm furious about it. I'm so damn sick and tired of the propaganda that is Israel. I'm so tired of the ass-kissing we do. I'm flat out spent when it comes to turning a blind eye. I refuse to tow the line on this issue and don't really give a shit what people think of me (generally) on this issue. I'm just plain angry!

This is what happens when the Founding Fathers design of government gets perverted into becoming a "career" aka the ruling Aristocracy. Which in fact is he complete opposite of their intention and purpose of the revolution.
