I say spyware. I've gone overboard on my cookie settings and my adblocker has taken on a life of its own, waving a swastika every now and then every time I load a page. A few of them cross the line though, I don't consider it "permission" to track what I do just by connecting to your page. If I register or contribute, then by all means show me your privacy policy.

One of the many reasons why I don't use gmail, the so called "targeted advertising", aah yeah right Jerk Off

I will not use anything that tracks my behavior, they can kiss my ass.

I just use Adblock Plus, stops all ads in their tracks no problem and NoScript stops whatever I miss with Adblock. Result: Pretty much no ads get through.

Once they stop tracking, I'll loosen up my settings a little.

How does AdBlock Plus get along with Spy Bot?

It actually gets along rather well.  Good combo is adblocker and Spybot S&D, in all reality is a must IMO

As I mentioned in another post I've been running Win 7 on my laptop and have had to look around for a good adblocker for IE9.  I tested and pulled the trigger on Ad Muncher, I like it, like it alot.  No it's not free but it honestly does the best job of any ad blocker I've found.  You install it and it covers all browsers installed.  So I'm no longer running Spybot and adblock, Ad Muncher does a great job, it's not free but you get what you pay for.

Thanks for the tip. I am getting ready to upgrade my primary to Win 7. I'll check it out.
