Money, How it's Created and Why

Here is a series of videos, I highly recommend taking the time to watch them. They explain rather well how money is created today and why. They do a good job of explaining the banking system and how debt produces assets. Then the second series of video's show how the world is manipulated, who creates war all in the name of "profit". Once you look through these videos you also may want to look at take a look at War is a Racket it was written by one of the U.S. and the Marines Corps most decorated Hero's Smedley Butler.

Big Brother's picture

For quite some time I've observed and warned others of the vast tragedy that has become the U.S. economic engine -- the replacement of production with debt. Our economy is based on it, not production. In other words, the same creative accounting that put the Enron executives behind bars and destroyed the Arthur Anderson accounting firm, is -- as the recent federal bailout revealed -- how America keeps its books.

The states caught onto this quite some time ago. Here's an excellent example of how the State as Predator generates revenue, by creating debt out of thin air -- http://www.lasvegassun.com/news/2008/nov/08/californias-long-arm-reaches-bank-account/

That's right -- if you leave California without notifying the government you will be assessed a fee, then they will take it right out of your bank account in another state.

Since my role in the Herd is fucking up the status quo I long ago discovered this principle is alive and well in Oregon. In its fiscal year prior to August 2006 the state's legislature passed a biennial budget of about $12.5 billion. During the same period the state was expected to collect about $45 billion, more than 3x the budget. Where did all those billions come from? Fees, assessments, levies, penalties and fines.

We the People own the public parks, buildings, and so on. Yet we're expected to fork out admissions, user and permit fees to access what we own.

Welcome to the State in its corporate forms.

And this came about because We the People let it. Get involved!! Don't just post it here. Forward it to your Congressional and state representatives. Laws don't get created in a vacuum, they get passed because state agencies employ "policy analysts," mostly attorneys who can't find work elsewhere (it's a little know fact most attorneys are starving), who do nothing but analyze law to create ways for that agency to burrow deeper into our lives where it wasn't able to go before. And the Constitutions be damned.

I know this firsthand.
